The Belgium international’s two goals could not rescue the result for Antonio Conte’s men, who were three goals down at half-time in their ICC clash.

Marcelo and Mariano powered Real Madrid to victory over Chelsea in Saturday’s International Champions Cup tie, despite a late double from Eden Hazard.

The Brazilian left-back opened the scoring after 19 minutes with a fine blast from outside the box.

Seven minutes later, Marcelo was on target once again, bursting into the box, prising himself away from both Gary Cahill and Nemanja Matic, before rifling a low shot beyond Begovic at the near post.
