There is no
more accurate representation of a footballer's ability, it could be argued,
than his rating on FIFA. It would be wrong, of course, but it could be argued
nonetheless.
That is why
the release of the 50 players with the best ratings in FIFA 17 was always to be
big news.
EA Sports -
the creators of football's most famous video game - are announcing their top 50
a piece at a time, so have only released the players ranked 50th - 31st so far.
FIFA 17 is set
for release in the United Kingdom on September 29
As you can see
below, the 20 players on the list include some very big names - the likes of
Marco Reus, Sergio Busquets and David Silva all feature.
But the bit
that really jumped out at us?
Arsenal
hero/legend/star man Alexis Sanchez is FIFA 17's 36th best player, with an
overall rating of 87…
We're not
saying whether we agree with these numbers or not.
But something
tells us that - with FIFA 17 due
for release in the UK on September 29 - this could be the subject of man
discussions in north London…
