Tottenham has made
its third signing of Deadline Day, with Moussa Sissoko joining on a five-year
contract.
The 27-year-old had
not hidden his desire to leave Newcastle following their relegation from the
EPL.
And Tottenham, who
had to fight off Everton to land the France international reportedly paid a fee
in the region of £30 million.
In a message to
Tottenham fans, Sissoko said: “I’m happy to be here. I will give everything and
I hope we can win a lot of games and titles.”
The midfielder has
become the third new arrival at White Hart Lane on transfer deadline day,
following the earlier signings of Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Pau Lopez.
Sissoko joined
Newcastle from Toulouse in 2013 and scored 12 goals in over 130 appearances for
the Toon in all competitions.
