Janet Jackson has confirmed that she’s pregnant with her first child at the age of 50 confirming the rumors that have been circling all year.
The singer was rumored to be expecting her first child when she postponed her world tour earlier this year, citing family reasons as the reason for the postponement. She has now confirmed the news, telling People Magazine “We thank God for our blessing” . She’s pictured showing off her baby bump in a picture for the magazine
In April, she announced that she was delaying her Unbreakable tour because she and her husband, Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana were “planning our family” posting a video on Twitter where she said there had been a “sudden change” to the tour which started in August 2015.
“Please, If you could try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can” She explained in the video.
