Findable and shareable web pages or
blog posts are best traffic pullers.
Gone are the days of tricking search
engine with code to give more preference to your
site or blog contents.
Nowadays the content itself and the way
it’s being shared has taken over that ancient tricks of finding contents, search is still necessary but you should consider Sharing as your utmost priority when writing a content because it
increases page ranking on search engine ; It only require good writing than good
coding.
Now let consider the technical elements
of sharing and SEO strategic writing that
can optimize your content.
Every regular blog post consist of three main elements which are the tittle, the
main content and the taxonomy but in most cases there is what I call the forth
element which is image on the content, they all play key function in
optimization on search engines i.e The way the post is shared, indexed,
searched for and picked up in search engines.
When a post is shared on social media,
the tittle will be picked up and displayed on the tittle field in the preview, the
descriptive field will show sentences in the article, what influences this in
search engines is the preference of the user.
The post tittle would be the search
result tittle but the description would be the first set of sentences or the
exalt sentence that matches the search preference.
So if you want search engines users to
find your article when making specific search, make sure you spell out such
searches terms in your posts, with this giant search engines like Google and
Bing can match them correctly.
When users search for the post, The tittle and the content will be very
important but in sharing they are not
really important because the post will be shortened so you have to consider
this when writing a post and this is where meta tittle and description field
should be given priority they would only be visible in search engine results
and when the article is shared in social networks i.e you make your article find-able and
shareable, but remember they are short fields thus you should put the most
important information first, description should be short and also summarize the
whole content of the post .
For example the tittle of this post is SEO: Shareable and Searchable posts tricks to optimize your blog post but the search description is Shareable and Searchable posts tricks to optimize your blog post
Now the taxonomy or category and tax,
they have only medium impact on the search ability of the post but still
important because when search engines index your blog it uses spider scripts
that craw through the entire site by following every hyperlink it can find in
other word if your *taxonomy * is smartly organized in a good content, it would
be indexed base on its structure, making it easier to find on search engine
Now the image which are of two categories; the featured image
and the image alt attribute.
The featured image option is the basic
image standard in blog post, i.e. it appear in your indexed page and so it
appears when its shared on social media like Google+, Facebook etc. post
preview you will see the post tittle, description and the featured image on a
shared link, if you didn’t select the image in your post the system would make
a random selection of images in your blog which might not be what you want, but
if you have put a better description of the image at the image alt attribute (alternative
description of the image) the search
engine would automatically turn it on as featured image when shared.
Let your image name come first before
any description that is relevant to the article e.g. Solenzo – writing blog
