A new mother,
Sarah Ademola, has fled the Felken Maternity Centre in the Somolu area of
Lagos, where she was delivered of a set of twins. She left behind the newborn
girls at the hospital.
Sarah
disappeared from the facility due to the inability of her husband to pay
N300,000. The man has paid N150,000 and is pleading with the hospital to give
him some time to pay the balance.
The husband
who married her after his first wife could not bear a child and due to family
pressure, said he's no longer interested in her for abandoning her kids because
