Sources say
Gambian president Yahya Jammeh is doing everything possible to remain in power
and in the midst of the storm he has moved his family out of the country to a
safe place.
This is to
make sure nothing happens to his wife and children in case a war breaks out
between the West African forces and his military, in a bid to force him out and
install Adama Barrow as President, following his victory in the last election.
Also, fresh
reports this morning indicates that President Jammeh has secured approval of
parliament to remain in office for another 3 months, pending when his case will
come up in court.
But Jammeh is
still scared, he has prepared his presidential jet to escape in case there is
war.
