Same manager
who released a statement when Seun Egbegbe was caught in Ikeja for allegedly
stealing iPhones, beaten with blood in his mouth, with photo and video
evidence, is said to have denied his latest arrest over Dollars fraud, despite
pictures, video and police report.
Seun Egbegbe
is expected to appear before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court in Lagos over iPhones
theft case on Wednesday, February 8, only for him to get arrested again at
general hospital in Gbagada, while trying to dupe money changers of millions of
naira.
Confirming
Egbegbe's latest arrest and detention, Lagos police command said:
"One
Seun Karim, a.k.a. Egbegbe, and one Ayo Oyekan, disguised as the MD of Gbagada
General Hospital and the other as a patient.
"They
lured one Alhaji Isa Adamu and Abdullahi Haruna, both Bureau de Change members,
from different locations, that they needed US9,000 dollars (2,742,750 by
official rate) and £3,000 pounds (N1,142,995 by official rate).
"They
are now under detention at Area H in Ogudu, Lagos."
Funny
enough, despite all the facts, The Net reports that Seun Egbegbe’s manager has
denied the reports, saying ‘Nothing of such’ happened.
