The Federal
Government has assured Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari is in very
competent hands in London where he is undergoing treatment.
The Minister
of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, gave the assurance on Wednesday while
briefing State House reporters after the Federal Executive Council meeting
chaired by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.
The minister
was responding to a question on the status of the president's health.
He also
assured that there was no cause for alarm over the president's health.
"The
president is in very competent hands and there is no cause for alarm," the
minister said.
President
Buhari left Nigeria for the United Kingdom on May 7 for a follow-up
consultation with his doctors.
