The supremacy battle between Nigeria’s biggest music stars, Davido and Wizkid, may have taken another dimension after the latter delivered a thinly veiled dig – which

many on Twitter Nigeria say was – aimed at the former on Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

Many Nigerians are of the opinion that Wizkid’s comment was a reply to OBO’s verse on Olamide’s newly released track Summer body, in which he made reference to the time Wizkid said that some artistes needed to quit being local and go international.

In the song, Davido had said: “With Yankee passport, them say we local“.

Apparently uneasy with the line, the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner, some hours ago, took to Twitter, to vent out his spleen.

“My people make una remember say Yankee passport no be baba blue, e no dey cure frog voice,” Wizkid tweeted.

Although he did not mention names, Nigerians on Twitter pointed the ‘fingers of banter’ on Davido.
