Ancelotti: Bayern Will Show Up When Season Starts

Carlo Ancelotti believes Bayern Munich will be ready for the Bundesliga when it starts after they won the DFL Supercup.

Bayern Munich went into the match against Dortmund after suffering heavy losses in preseason.

Ancelotti’s men had to equalise twice to take the game to penalties, and claimed victory from the spot.

“Of course the title is important,” he said. “I’m pleased. We played with good concentration,”

“Our pre-season hasn’t been good but you don’t need to worry. When the season starts, we will be there.”
