At Sunday night's iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards Nick Jonas reached out to the
victims of the Pulse massacre while accepting the International Artist of the Year award. "It's been a tough couple of weeks -- a lot of hate and violence in the world," he said while paying tribute to the 49 people killed and 53 injured in the nightclub shooting. "It's moments like this where we can all come together and celebrate the good times and be full of joy and happiness. It's a beautiful thing so thank you for this."

According to E! News, Jonas, 23, added, "I dedicate this to all the families and victims of the shootings recently. We love you and we have not forgotten."
Jonas' tribute came amid a number of funerals for Pulse victims over the weekend and hundreds came out on Sunday for a vigil honoring the dead at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke, where a bell tolled for each of the 49 victims, CNN reported. Afterwards, a candlelight vigil in a nearby park drew an estimated 50,000 people.
