New York cops spent four nail-biting hours convincing a man who is suspected of killing his girlfriend not to jump to his death.
The unnamed man, 73,
was on his way to speak to his lawyer about the alleged killing when he opted
instead to climb to the 22nd floor of a Tribeca high rise - seemingly with the
intention to kill himself.

NYPD officer helped translate as crisis experts talked him off the precarious
ledge, the New York Daily News reported
