Frustrated
families have hit out at Thorpe Park as at least five major rides were closed
at one time, with severe delays on several others.
As families
set out to enjoy the summer holidays on one of the hottest days of the year
today, many were left disappointed when they couldn't go on a number of the
rides at the Surrey theme park.
According to
angry parents and the Queue Times website, up to five rides were closed at one
time, including major attractions Nemesis Inferno , Stealth and Colossus.
Customers
faced queues of nearly two hours on Saw – The Ride, 85 minutes on I'm A
Celebrity, 80 minutes on Tidal Wave and an hour on several others, including
Rush, The Swarm and X.
