Embattled
former chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation,
Abdulmumin Jibrin, has been invited to make a presentation before the
Presidential Advisory Committee Against corruption , on the allegations of
budget
padding he has leveled against the Speaker of the House of
Representatives, Yakubu Dogara and twelve other legislators. Jibrin disclosed
this in a statement he released on his Facebook wall.
In another
victory for our journey to ensure that justice is served on Speaker Dogara,
Lasun, Doguwa, Ogor and 9 other members, I have received official invitation
from Prof Itse Sagay SAN, Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee
against Corruption to make a comprehensive presentation to the Committee on the
allegations I raised against Mr Speaker and others and discuss strategies on
how to achieve results. The letter was signed by Executive Secretary of the
Committee Prof Bolaji Owasanoye.
