15 inmates in
the Nsukka Prison in Enugu state have escaped after breaking their cells and
scaling the prison walls.
This incident happened yesterday night August 9th.
The controller of prison, Lawrence Okonkwo, who confirmed the jailbreak, said he is yet to get more information about the jailbreak from the Enugu state prisons controller, Isaiah Amariri.
Meanwhile there are reports that two of the
escaped inmates have been re-arrested.
