A student at
University of Pittsburgh, 22 year old Grant Birdsong, had to be rescued around
2 a.m after his stunt aimed at pleasing a woman went horribly wrong.
He had to
be rescued by emergency services after 4 hours of being trapped between
buildings at Atwood Street and Oakland Avenue in Oakland, Pittsburgh.
He was stuck
around 2a.m and it wasn't until 6 a.m that he was rescued. Emergency services
had to use strong equipment to free him.
The city’s
public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said: "The young man met a girl,
brought her up to a rooftop and decided to impress her by leaping from one roof
to the next.
After becoming
wedged, authorities had to break though a restaurant to reach him and carry out
the rescue."We did that after a lot of jack-hammering and use of other
heavy equipment."
