Emmanuel Adebayor is on the verge of joining Lyon, according to the MailOnline.
The former Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester City striker has been without a club since he was released by Crystal Palace in June.
The 32-year-old signed a short-term deal at Selhurst Park in January but became a free-agent after scoring just one goal in 15 appearances for the south London club.

The 32-year-old first came to England when he left Monaco for Arsenal in 2006. Adebayor played 142 games for the Emirates Stadium club, scoring 62 goals – a return that persuaded Manchester City to shell out £25million for his services in 2009.
Lyon have taken six points from their opening four matches this season. Seven-time French champions, they were runners-up to Paris Saint-Germain last term and began their Champions League campaign this week with a 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb.
