Former Burkina
Faso international Ben Idrissa Derme died on Sunday after suffering a heart
attack in a French Cup match, his family has revealed.
The
34-year-old, who played four times for Burkina Faso’s national team in his
career, represented amateur side AJ Biguglia in a third-round tie.
According to
reports in French media, he suffered a heart attack early in the second half
and medical personnel were unable to revive him after treating him on the
pitch.
