The Reds'
£30million summer signing was withdrawn after 66 minutes of Senegal's
2-0 win
over Namibia in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying
Liverpool are
sweating on the fitness of Sadio Mane after he reportedly picked up a knock on
international duty.
The striker
was withdrawn after 66 minutes of Senegal's 2-0 win over Namibia in Africa Cup
of Nations qualifying.
Reports from
the match say he was substituted as a precaution after picking up an injury.
Jurgen Klopp
will be hoping the problem isn't too serious for his £30million summer signing
as champions Leicester prepare to visit Anfield next weekend.
Mane has
started the season in fine form for his new club, the highlight being a
stunning goal he scored against Arsenal on his debut.

on Saturday
And he isn't
feeling the pressure following his big-money move from Southampton.
“It’s normal
in football. People will talk about it (the transfer fee) but I don’t feel the
pressure,” Mane said.
“I have always
believed in my quality and I know what I can do for my team.
“I just try to
work in training every day and give my best for the club and for the fans.
“I was very
happy to score my first goal in my first game for Liverpool. Most importantly
we won the game.
“I want to
thank everyone for all the support I’ve had from the fans and from the club.”
