Salisu Yusuf
has not yet signed a contract as chief coach of the Super Eagles.
The former
Enyimba and Kano Pillars coach, was asked to report to Abuja this week by the
Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), where he was expected to sign the deal.
An official
revealed to AfricanFootball: “Salisu still has not signed a contract even after
he was ordered to come into Abuja and do so.
“The official
in charge of the contract was again out of the country and so the coach has had
to return to Kano.
“He will now
possibly sign his contract before the World Cup qualifier in Zambia next
month.”
Yusuf’s
contract will see him earn a reported N5million a month.
