images have emerged of a woman taking a man for a walk on a dog leash across a
road in China.
The pair
were spotted on September 9 in Fuzhou, China's Fujian province, reports the
People's Daily Online.
Police had
to be called to deal with the issue as the pair were holding up traffic and
causing traffic jams.
According to
reports, the woman was spotted walking with the man on a leash.
He was
crawling on the floor like a dog.
The woman
was then spotted patting the man on his head.
Mr Lian saw
the incident and said that lots of people came closer to see what was going on.
The pair
caused traffic jams in the city and police had to be called in.
They managed
to persuade her to untie the rope and free the man.
Photos of
the incident were posted on China's social media site Weibo on September 9
under the topic 'things around Fuzhou.'
The post
read: 'The man was tied and said to the crowd, he is not a person, he is a
dog.'
People have
been commenting on the post confused about what happened.
One user
wrote: 'Imagine how their parents feel when they saw this.'
While
another said: 'Where is the dignity of men?'
And one user
commented: 'If he were a dog, why does he wear clothes ?'
However, the
reason of the woman's behaviour remains unknown.
