Two young men
were paraded at the Anambra State Police Command Headquarters, Amawbia for
armed robbery and rape.
The suspects
identified as Uche Ezeugo and
Sopuluchukwu Nweke, both from
Aguluezechukwu in Aguata council area were
nabbed on Monday, September 12th by the Directorate of State Security (DSS) at
Nanka, in Orumba North local council area.
The suspects
were allegedly caught with arms.
The state
Commissioner of Police Mr Sam Okaula, who commended men of the DSS and SSS for
doing a good job by working round the clock to nib crime in the bud.
The suspects
Uche and Somadina, who admitted to having committed the crimes, pleaded for
pardon and advised youths to desist from any form of crime as the law will
catch up with them.
