AC Milan officials have reportedly travelled to Chelsea in their quest to lure Cesc Fabregas to the Serie A side.
According to Tuttosport, Rossoneri began talks with Chelsea on Saturday, as they look to sign the 29-year-old in January.
The midfielder does not appear to be part of Antonio Conte’s plans at Stamford Bridge, making just one start for the Blues since the Italian took charge at the start of the season.
Directors Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli were reportedly at Chelsea to discuss the Fabregas’ situation, with the club considering him a potential replacement for the injured Riccardo Montolivo.
