Spokesperson
of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Wilson Uwujaren, has
said that the arraignment of former Aviation minister and former
Spokesperson
of PDP's Presidential campaign in last year's election, Femi Fani-Kayode, has
been slated for Thursday November 10th.
Fani-Kayode
was re-arrested by EFCC operatives last Friday while emerging from a Federal
High Court room in Lagos. He alongside former Minister of Finance, Nenandi
Usman, one Danjuma Yusuf and a company, Joint Trust Dimension Nigeria Ltd, are
facing a 17-count charge of unlawful retention, unlawful use and unlawful payment
of about N4.9 billion, a charge they denied.
According to
Uwujaren, Fani-Kayode has been served with court papers.
