Niger President in Abuja for Buhari book launch

The President of the Republic of Niger, Mahamadou Issoufou, arrived Abuja on Sunday to attend the launch of a book written in honour of President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria.

Mr. Issoufou was received by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad Bello, at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
A statement by Mr. Bello’s spokesperson, Mohammed Sule, said the aircraft of the visiting Nigerien President touched down at exactly 17.45 p.m. Nigerian time amid rousing reception.
The book “Muhammadu Buhari: The Challenges of Leadership in Nigeria” by John Paden, a Professor of International Studies would be presented to the public on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
The Minister of Defense, Mansur Dan Ali, as well as that of State for Foreign Affairs Khadija Abba-Ibrahim, joined the FCT Minister to receive the visiting Nigerien President. Premiumtimesng
