Hip hop icon, Tupac Shakur has been nominated
for entry into the 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The list, which was released today with 19
nominees, will see the late rapper who was killed in Las Vegas, Nevada in
September 1996, battle out Janet Jackson, Pearl Jam, Joan Baez, Depeche Mode,
Chaka Khan, Electric Light Orchestra, Jane's Addiction, J. Geils Band, Journey,
The Cars, Yes, The Zombies, The Bad Brains, Steppenwolf,MC5, Kraftwerk, Joe Tex
and Chic for the Induction.
