Barcelona On Suarez-United Link: He Is Not Leaving

Recent transfer speculations has linked Luis Suarez with a returned. To the EPL via interest from Manchester United, but club president Jose Luis Bartomeu insists

Barcelona are not selling him.

The Uruguayan who was the highest goalscorer in the La Liga last season has been linked to Mourinho’s United for a reported transfer fee of €150 million.

But Bartomeu is adamant that his star forward is not going anywhere.

“We read, we listen, we see this news, but of course, our interest in this particular case is that Luis Suarez is happy at Barcelona,” the president told Sky Sports.

“We are trying to extend his contract with Barcelona and he is one of our big future efforts because he is still young, he has a vision, a lot of ambition.”

Suarez joined Barcelona in 2014 from Liverpool and has scored 94 goals in 111 appearances in all competitions so far.
