COLLECTION OF
ACADEMIC GOWNS
B.Sc, MSc./PGD
graduating students are to pay a sum of thirty-six thousand Naira (N36,000.00)
for academic gowns, Convocation Brochures and Scrolls through POS in any of the
Bursary Departments of the University Campuses (Ibogun, Ayetoro, Ikenne and
Main Campus) and the refund of six thousand Naira (N6,000.00) will be given
them on return of the Academic Gowns.
Similarly,
Ph.D graduands will pay sixty‐five thousand Naira (N65,000.00) from which
twenty‐five thousand Naira (N25,000.00) is refundable while those intending to
keep ;their academic gowns will pay sixty thousand Naira (N60,000.00)
non‐refundable fees.
Meanwhile, the
University has directed all College Secretaries/Faculty Officers to commence
issuance of Academic Gowns to Graduands from Wednesday, 18th January, 2017 in
respective College/Faculties while graduands from Basic Medical Sciences,
Clinical Sciences, Engineering and Agricultural Sciences are to collect theirs
at the Directorate of Students Affairs.
However, the
return of all academic gowns in good condition by all graduands must be
complied with by Friday, 17th February, 2017 to enable them merit the
refundable deposit of six thousand Naira (N6,000.00) to be credited to
graduands’ various Bank Accounts.
The University
warns that any graduand who fails to comply with the condition above within the
stipulated deadline will have to pay a penalty fee of six thousand Naira
(N6,000.00) per week.
The University
strongly advised all expected guests to be seated by 9.00am on the Convocation
days.
