The Lagos
State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, on Monday said there were plans to remove
yellow buses, popularly known as danfo, from Lagos roads.
He explained
that danfo would give way to a more efficient, well-structured and world-class
mass transport system that would facilitate ease of movement within the city.
It's good to
introduce new buses. But I hope it won't send people's husbands and fathers,
the men who currently operate the Danfo buses, into unemployment?
