A married
Congolese woman, Mrs Glory Fahuji and her son, Junior, are stranded in Lagos
after her Nigeria husband, Ray Fahuji dumped them, sold their family house in
Lagos , married another woman and moved to Benin City in Edo State.

The man,
secretly sold the family house for N6m located at 16 Adebayo street, Boniface
Ashipa in Ayobo, a Lagos suburb, where they resided before he moved with the
new wife to Edo State.
Trouble
started for both mother and the son, when the new landlord, Omoregie Monday
surfaced and told them that he had bought the house from the owner and asked
them to leave the house.
PM Express
reports that Ray met Glory 24 years ago in Congo republic where they married
and later relocated to Nigeria. They had only a son, Ray Junior who is 24 years
and a footballer.
It was when
the new landlord surfaced that the wife and the son knew what happened and told
the new landlord that the house was jointly built as such, Ray cannot sell it
without their consent.
It was learnt
that Glory made substantial contribution for the purchase of the land and
building where they lived peacefully until recently when her husband started
acting strangely.
There was
exchange of words and resistance by the embattled wife and son before Monday
went and arranged with the police at Area M Command, Idimu to eject them
forcefully.
Junior was
arrested and charged before a court with conduct likely to cause breach of
public peace and threat to life under the Criminal Code.
He was
arraigned before a Magistrate’s court sitting in Ejigbo where he pleaded not
guilty.
The presiding
Magistrate, Mr Akeem Fashola granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties
in like sum.
He was
remanded in custody pending when he will perfect his bail.
The matter was
adjourned till 19 June 2017 for trial.
While the
mother was trying to release her son from Prison on Monday, the man who bought
their house arranged with unknown men suspected to be thugs and went and threw
Glory’s property from the house and sent her away.
She is now
living on the street while battling to free her son from prison.
Meanwhile, her
husband is grooving with Edo woman in Benin City. How sad!
