The National
Teachers Institute (NTI), has announced the extension of deadline for
registration process of its academic programmes to May 31, 2017.
According to sun news, Director-General
of NTI, Prof. Garba Dahuwa-Azare, in a statement yesterday explained that the
extension was to give interested students ample time to register for any
programme of their choice and prepare adequately for the academic work.
He encouraged
interested students yet to complete their registrations to take advantage of
window to complete the exercise through their online registration portal,
assuring them that all the programmes offered by NTI were duly approved by the
relevant bodies.
The NTI boss
restated the institute’s readiness and capability to mount and execute training
workshops for states that might wish to use its services to upgrade and update
the capacity of their teachers.
He said the
recent memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with the National Open
University of Nigeria (NOUN), had begun to yield the expected result.
