Multiple
news reports state that sporadic gun fire along BIU road in Ugbor, Benin city
claimed the life of an undergraduate, Tobi Igioh.
The
deceased, the only child of the former General Manager of Edo Broadcasting
Service, Pastor Mrs Sidi Lawal -Igioh, was hit by a stray bullet when the
hoodlums were trying to escape after they had successfully robbed some shops in
the area around 6.30 pm.
Other
persons injured in the attack are now receiving treatment in an undisclosed
hospital, with the police on the trail of the hoodlums.
