DARE TO BE

What is that you have in your hand; you can use it to become great. Don’t stop where you are because you can go further, take a bold step; just a step can make you great.

Dare to be what men think you cannot be, dare to reach your dream. Everything may seem blink, you may have no one to help you but don’t give up. Try to make every minute of your life count. Every minute is precious so make good use of every opportunity because you can’t touch same water twice-opportunity comes just once. No great establishment today started big. They all started small. Do you look down on what you do? Or do people despise your handiwork? Don’t give up because when you start giving up on yourself, men start giving up on you.

You may not be the best among many but just know you are distinct. You may not be a tall tree in the forest but you can still be a shrub. What makes you think you can’t BECOME. When your time comes you actualize your dreams. Each and every great name we hear today we hear because they did not give up.

Dare to be great, dare to reach your goal, dare to catch the spot light, dare to achieve. Each new day comes with different opportunities, all you have to do is open your eyes wide for such opportunities and ensure you don’t let them pass you by. No one knows just when their lives will change for good, so why sit down while these opportunities pass you by. Yes it’s true, sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matt 6:34b) but each day also comes with good things. Why not wait patiently for those good things and grab them for maximum use of them?

I have a dream that one day I will be great, you have a dream that someday you will become great. So I dare to be what I think I dare to become great undermining my circumstance, undermining the shoes I wear, because greatness is in the mind. True greatness starts from the heart. It is true we all need each other but even without helpers you can strive for greatness, you just need to put on the garment of faith with the sword of hope and keep pushing on. For the journey of a thousand miles begin with a step. It was once thought by men that the moon cannot be reached, an atom cannot be divided, and that only birds can fly; but with hope, faith and great efforts from great men those are now thoughts of yesteryears. If what seems impossible yesterday has now become possible today  why do I still doubt my dreams, why do I let those opportunities pass me by, why do I still depend on people for survival. No, I am dropping that crown of laziness off my head taking that load of doubt, fear and unbelief off my shoulders and I am daring. I dare to be great and I will be great. You too can be great because greatness is in all of us.
