An armed
robbery suspect almost met his end after he was caught during an operation in
Calabar, Cross River state. The alleged robber who was stripped unclad - had
his
legs and hands tied with robes, before he was beaten to pulp by angry
residents.
According to
reports, his body was slashed with machetes and was about to lynched before
police team rescued him and took him to the General Hospital Calabar for
treatment.
