One teenager was killed and three other family
members including a mother, her daughter and grand child injured in a kerosene
explosion yesterday evening in Agbaja
Nkporo, Ohafia LGA of Abia State.
An eyewitness identified as Orji Ndukwe Henry
said the explosion occurred when one of the victims filled a lantern with a
product suspected to be an adulterated kerosene and ignited it for use by the
family.
He was unlucky and got himself enveloped in
the inferno that ensued.
At the moment, the family and members of
Agbaja Nkporo community are mourning the deceased as the survivors are in
excruciating pains.
