Shane, the
son of Barcelona and Netherlands legend Patrick Kluivert, has signed a contract
with sportswear giant Nike.
The
9-year-old boy took to his Instagram account, where he has 120,000 followers,
to share the good news.
He wrote:
"Very proud signed my first contract with @nike "
Proud father
Patrick also shared the news on social. He wrote: "My son so proud of you
@shanekluivert Just signed his first contract with @Nike at nine years #proud
#love."
Apart from
Shane's famous father, his brother Justin Kluivert, 18, is a Dutch professional
football player, who currently plays for Ajax as a right winger. This makes
Shane Kluivert the third member of the Kluivert family to make a name for
himself.
Companies
such as Nike and Adidas have talent identification departments which sign up
promising young players.
