Comrade
Shakiru Balogun, a one-time APC Chairmanship aspirant in of Igando/Ikotun
Community has died.
He died
after being involved in a fatal motor accident with a LAWMA truck on Friday,
July 21, 2017.
Balogun was
an aspirant for the chairmanship position before he lost at the primaries, but
he still remains one of the very strong and influential political figures in
the community.
Late Balogun
was also a former Chairman of National Union of Local Government Employees
(NULGE), Igando-Ikotun Chapter.
