Policemen attached to the Ilemba-Hausa Division, Lagos State, have arrested no fewer than three members of the dreaded One Million Boys gang.

The gang specialized in terrorizing Ajangbadi and Shibiri areas at Oto-Awori Local Development Council Area of the state.

The suspects, 25-year-old Emeka Emwis, 24-year-old Eze Ikasuana, and Kabiru Sadiq, 22, were arrested at the weekend when they attacked motorists and pedestrians plying the Ajangbadi-Shibiri Road.

The state Police Command spokesperson, SP Dolapo Badmus, while confirming the arrest of the suspects to newsmen, said some motorists, who escaped the robbery, alerted police and a team of anti-robbery policemen from Ilemba-Hausa Division were deployed to the scene where they arrested three of the suspects.

“Items recovered from the suspects include machetes and locally-made guns they used in dispossessing victims of cash and other valuables.

“The suspects have been transferred to Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, and will be charged to court at the end of investigations,” the spokesperson stated.
