Scotland
striker Steven Naismith is leaving Norwich to be reunited with David Moyes at
Sunderland .
Moyes has
moved for Naismith to boost his attacking options at Sunderland.
The
29-year-old has endured an unhappy time at Norwich since his £8.5million switch
from Everton in January.
Naismith, who
started his career at Kilmarnock before joining Rangers, has managed just two
goals in 18 appearances for the Canaries.
Moyes signed
Naismith on a free transfer from Rangers in 2012 and he managed 25 goals for
the Blues, including a hat-trick last season off the bench against Chelsea.
Naismith
arrived at Carrow Road on a three and a half year deal in the January transfer
window.
But a move to
the Stadium of Light will boost not only the Black Cats' front line but also
the striker's hopes of prolonging his international career.
Naismith has
played 43 times for his country and is in the current Scotland squad for the
game against Malta this weekend.
