West Brom have seen their £15million move for Malaga
midfielder Ignacio Camacho
stall.
That has prompted West Brom to
make an ambitious £20m move for Sporting Lisbon’s Portugal midfielder William Carvalho.
But it leaves West Brom boss Tony Pulis facing more
frustration as they struggle to get the deals done that the West Brom wants
before the deadline.
West Brom triggered Camacho’s buy-out clause but
there have still been hitches in negotiations and that has now been put on
hold.
Carvalho was one of the most sought after
midfielders in Europe and West Brom may struggle to tempt him to the Midlands.
