Job
Description
The role is
designed for supporting and delivering activities carried out by the Manage
Direct Tax team. It provides a very good exposure on direct tax compliance and
Group
reporting. The role also involves individual contributor
responsibilities, primarily as a reviewer of a limited number of high
complex/material legal entities/AoO’s.
Accountabilities
Deliver on
time and accurate tax reports, returns and payments for migrated activity and
tax
provision
for all businesses in various tax jurisdictions for various countries and
adherence to the managerial metrics of the process;
Understand
and operate various tax provisioning/compliance tools;
Understand
Group Accounting and Reporting changes and enable incorporation of such changes
and in the process as may be relevant;
Support for
tax audits as well as support for providing data for all audit queries;
Contribute
to updating and maintenance of Key tax assumptions and Work Instructions &
Training framework to reduce time to delivery to optimal levels (typically 3
months);
Support and
work on transition additional/new scope migrations of MDT activities.
Keeps
working knowledge of Business developments and Business performance drivers;
Requirements
University
degree (Law, Economy, Finance, Accounting preferable)
Professional
experience in Finance in International organisation
Proved
experience in direct tax area for minimum 2-3 years in multinational and
multicultural environment
Fluent
English
Very good
communication skills
Excellent
Microsoft Office skills, specially Excel tool
Knowledge of
various ERP systems would be beneficial
Comfortable
working under time pressure situations
Effective
stakeholder management
