Description
The
Subsurface and Wells (SSW) team drives quality and efficiency by integrating
expertise from Excellence team and skills from Operations team.
The current
team consists of 60 staff based in India who is qualified in Petroleum
Engineering and Geosciences with Data Management capabilities. Team in Krakow
will be partnering with existing organization both in India and with Technical
Data Management community in Europe and US.
Manage a
growing team ( ∼ 5-10).
Ensure Data
Management activities meets Group Data Quality Standards compliance as they
relate to operations.
Maintain the
global integrity and accountability for SSW data maintenance and assurance
processes, controls, performance measures (especially FOD Metrics) and
compliance.
Managing
Shell’s Petrophysical data: Recall data loading service for three key regions
(Americas, Europe and P&T Countries) including the activities as follow:
Applying
metadata standards and Quality Control rules.
Data loading
to Recall Instances (staging, OFDB, CLDB).
Providing
data search and project support e.x.: Extract Well headers, mud, drilling
parameters from digital Log files.
Managing
Geophysical data- inveterise and manage them in a standard corporate system
with essential data standards and quality (e.x. Seismic data archiving to HSM
and loading to Projects (OpenWorks, Petrel).
Document and
Record Management (DRM)- provide document publishing services viz. setting up
projects & managing CWF (Collaborative Well File) environment &
publishing documents to central repository with the correct metadata.
Measuring
and reporting data quality.
Technical
standards management.
Identify
relevant training needs and organize/deliver training.
Support
improvement projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives (e.g.
CI) to ensure quality management is a key component and outcomes are
sustainable from a quality management perspective.
Requirements
University
degree in any Technical Disciplines (Geophysics, Geosciences, Petrophysics,
Reservoir Engineering, Well Engineering).
Experience
of 6+ years in technical data management (Data Loading, Quality Analysis,
Migration & Integration data in various interpretation applications and
their repositories)
A t least 4+
years of experience in team management
Knowledge of
Information Management, Design of management Systems and Processes desired.
Behavioral

sensitivities. Ability to deal effectively with complexity and detail.
Ability to
prioritize and ensure delivery of priorities. Ability to work effectively in a

excellence and required data quality objectives.
