Afro hip-hop and RnB singer, model and dancer, Lara Gold certainly got
some hearts disturbed and many tongues wagging with raunchy pictures she posted
on her
Instagram page to celebrate the St. Valentine’s Day. Along with the
sensual set of pictures Lara added some stirring love missives to her fans, to
wish them well on the special day.
When Potpourri approached the ‘Love me now’ crooner on the big idea
behind the pictures and the messages, she was quick to offer that love means so
much to her, because growing up as a child, it was something she didn’t have in
abundance. “Some people take love for granted because it was always there for
them but for me, it is precious as I never truly experienced it at home as a
child,” she said. “I love to love, because growing up for me as a child was
tough emotionally. Living with both
parents I felt lost because there was no affection between them. They were
living together but distant from each other and this affected my emotional
disposition. Both of them engaged in physical fights regularly and it affected
my outlook to life. Most times, I isolated myself from people because it’s not
something I could share as a child so I suffered in silence. l felt neglected
around my parents most times. This is why, as an adult all I want to do is put
a smile on people’s faces and be happy, feel loved and fulfilled with myself
and people around me. Nothing lasts forever, so l feel love is important around
children, family and in the society,” she added The singer who describes
herself as kindhearted and easy-going says her 2018 is going to be big. She
disclosed that she’s working on a single
titled ‘My new found love’ and hopes to release another one for the market in
March titled “New dawn”.
