Governor Ifeanyi
Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has arrived the University town of Nsukka for an on the
spot assessment of the jailbreak at Nsukka prison, which occurred on early
Wednesday.
The governor who
condemned the incident -reassured residents of the state on his
administration’s commitment to provide adequate security of lives and property.

The governor also
donated money for the immediate installation of security doors and metal window
burglaries in the cells -as he called for security beef up in Nsukka and more
measures that will enable the rearrest of the escaped inmates.
