Little Monsters
were already kind of losing their minds on Friday morning (Sept. 9) when Lady
Gaga finally released the first single from her upcoming album, the pulse-
pounding "Perfect
Illusion." But during an interview withBBC
Radio 1 (via the Independent)
just hours after the first single from her as-yet-untitled fifth effort
dropped, she revealed an even bigger secret.
"There's
a feature on the album that I think you will be very excited about," she
said, spilling that she's recorded a song with Florence + the Machine's Florence
Welch. “Me and Florence Welch did a duet together. I started to
work on an idea for a song that I really wanted to do with a girl. You’ll see
why when you see what the song is about," she said. “I just thought,
‘Who do I want to sing with?’ She’s really to me if not the best, one of the
greatest vocalists in the world. She’s incredible.”
Monsters were
freaking out just a bit.
WE'RE GETTING TO HEAR GAGA & FLORENCE'S ANGELIC
VOCALS TOGETHER IN A SONG. I'M SHAKING.

Listen to her
collaborator Mark
Ronson call in to Grimshaw's show and try to fake Gaga out
with a terrible accent.
